Social media platforms can help a programming language engage with potential users and find out what the public is saying about the language. Social media can be used for advertising and promotional activities, too. In addition, Social media can help the language to attract new users, get user feedbacks and build user loyalty.
Actually, Liberty BASIC is on: Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/groups/674481353031243/
Well done!!! My opinion. Itch.io is a suitable social media to attract young people. Moreover, some other BASICs also use Itch. I hope that the management team of Liberty BASIC will consider the suggestion and make cool webpages for Liberty BASIC on Itch. As a result, greater exposure will be got for Liberty BASIC among young people.

I have one more constructive suggestion. Logo! Many popular softwares have amazing logos. A cool logo for Liberty BASIC should be designed. I believe that some forum members are good at creating awesome graphics. Right? Sure! A good first impression can be made on the public if an appropriate logo for Liberty BASIC is created.
I hope that Carl will consider my two suggestions.

Furthermore, there is a banner on Just BASIC's website: This banner looks nice and can be used as the logo of Just BASIC(or slightly modify it).

Timfun5, there is no rule that says you cannot promote Liberty yourself. If you are active on such forums just start promoting Liberty and links to its home page and support pages. We have had Facebook and other forum postings in the past but on any new forum it requires live active discussion to hold interest. That is the bit that is a bit harder to achieve.
We are really lucky to have dedicated users supporting this forum. Some for a long time, for which I am very grateful. With a bit of effort you might get Liberty more widely discussed and known. That would be great, but just be aware it will take a bit of effort to maintain the activity and interest.

Thanks Rod. It really would be great to see some people actively posting about Liberty BASIC in various places. There are many of us out there. Maybe this is a good time to mention the Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/674481353031243Also, here is my entry for the LB5 logo:

Thanks for the logo. I think we probably want something more compact, and use caps for BASIC instead of Basic.

I think idea about LB5 logo is interesting one We could make a contest - devise LB logo. Of cource in LB but it is not strict requirement. It might not end up useful, but it sure will be fun Is there some color theme to use? (JB logo posted has nice visible color theme Does LB (classic, 4.x) has one? Does LB5? ) Is this icon from LB5 alpha - designed for LB5, and can be used/incorporated in logo? Is it "official" LB5 colors? Or is it just default icon from Smalltalk development tool? (I tried Google lens on it, all I got was bunch of chemical stuff - 3d moleculas)

A well-designed logo tells the story of the software using design elements like color, fonts, imagery, shapes, etc.
