Does anybody have an LB routine to convert and Excel File directly to a CSV? I wrote some code in my blog for doing keyed lookup if that’s what you mean. Look at basicprogramming.blogspot.com

Excel files can be complex beasts because of the huge functionality built into Excel. But basic files are usually stored In CSV format anyway, it’s the header info and other info that pads out and complicates the file. So you might find your file is easy to parse, but if there are bells and whistles then less so. Which is why it’s always easier to export a .CSV from Excel first.
why not just open your file in notepad and see if it is simple or complex.if it is simple you can easily open it in Liberty.
