Carl,
The treesUIsubs.bas does not work when one clicks on a ListBox item. The code fails with the "Unhandled exception: Message not understood: #asText" error message when it attempts to assign the string to the StaticText object. No matter what combination is used it always fails with the same error message. The only thing that worked for me was an empty string (i.e. "").
'This does not work #win.choice text("single "+choice$+" "+str$(index))
Changing the lines that issue the text() command to the StaticText objects to the old way of doing it with just the string works like a charm.
'This works #win.choice "single "+choice$+" "+str$(index) So, it seems the StaticText text() method is not working correctly.

Carl, This issues remains in Alpha.350 ...
Also, now the subroutine "double" causes an issue since "double" is a type and reserved word. Obviously, simply changing the name of the subroutine slightly remedies this issue.
