If anyone is interested, I added the following to the RunBasic program SQLite RB program- CSV export in the sequence and drill-down requested - CSV import from file selected. - MLR - Multiple Linear Regression of any number of independent fields selected. - Ability to load another DB and table without having to exit Have a great day.. Hi Dan,
More than just a little interested. I'd appreciate a link to the newest version.
Thanks in advance.

Sure Cor. Funny the link is in the previous post. For some reason it don't look like a post. If you click "SQLite Rb program" So I'll try again here :Link to Rb ProgramI wrote the program for myself to help with my data. I wanted to sort, drill-down, analyse, export, import, and maintain tables. It kinda worked so I posted it so maybe it can help oters. I'm in the process of trying to add "Linear Regression". If I get time and I can figure it out, I should have it in a few days.. Hope this helps. Dan

This looks very interesting. Keep us posted! I've made some changes and additions to the RB code. Someone who is better than me at LB might be able to convert this to LB. Not sure it can be done very easily? But what do I know?? Added. Help. CSV output QR code on selected fields will be displayed according to requested size. Linear regression of X and Y points. Multiple Linear Regression of selected points. Curvilinear Interpolation of X and Y points. Link to rb: runbasic.proboards.com/thread/2594/data-analysis?page=1&scrollTo=9969Hope this helps.. Added some options to the system. They can be selected or not. [x] Validate Dates. This creates a date picker for fields defined as DATE. [x] Validate Numeric. Will not accept anything but numeric data including comma and dot. [x] Fields with the word color will present a color picker. The field cannot be defined a Date or Numeric types.
These options will be requested after you select a database and table.
Good luck.. Dan I'll be adding other options when I see a need. Or if someone request something..

Ever wonder what firefox knows about you and your data. They keep information in SQLite files. There are several files you can load and look at. Change them if you want?? They are located on windows 10 at: c:\Users\<your Login>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7pt2g9tn.default\ There are several sqlite files such as permissions.sqlite,places.sqlite, cookies.sqlite, favicons.sqlite Documentation is here. developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Tech/Places/Database

I know I was ask to keep things updated here. Hate to post RB code here ... however if there is still interest, I added more functions to the RB data analysis program. I've looked at converting it to LB, but it would be very difficult.. - for me anyway it's beyond me. Maybe someone else.
hope this helps. Have a great day... Dan

Thanks for uodating us on your progress. I and I'm sure others like me will follow on RunBASIC. Carl created a powerful variant when he brought it out..

Ok thanks.. Will post more when I get time.. Because I like to travel, I don't have much time right now.
If possible, I going to try to incorporate speech recognition. From what I understand, you should be able to give it key words. For example you should be able to say "open the database abc.db, use table tblA, do searches on fieldA greater than zero, and fieldB contain abc, sort on fieldC descending, group it on fieldD, and do MLR on fieldA,fieldE,fieldD." It should be able to understand that command and do it. We will see if I can get it to work??

WOW! This is nicely done!
Appreciate the effort. Now I can analyze how you did this which will assist me in my own DB applications.

+ Added CSV input and Output. Nothing fancy, I did not add selection of fields. The CSV file must match the database file. On CSV input, sometimes you get a "Database is locked" error. This is a known error of RB and no work around. The only cure is to stop the RB server and restart it. I'm will try to create a sqlite database interface with LB that can be called or run from LB to try and eliminate the problem.
+ When entering a SQL command in the [SQL] section, you can have the program generate a standalone program in RB that does your SQL command.
Good luck Dan
