Chasing something in a 'Scientific American' from 1986 I noticed today an interesting article on how the brain interprets what the eye detects and processes. This graphic shows a number of variations on 6 identical grey hexagons in a field of coloured ones. Various boundary effects and 'apparent colours' are seen. Just a quick application of my code to generate shapes accurately and colour-fill them. I'll put code om my website soon- I've been correcting several missing bits, and adding quite a few new ones. Just thoght it was a nice cheerful one to celebrate, I hope, a new year of coding!
