Hi,
I thought I could use a kernel dll to move a daily downloaded file from a directory where I use the data in it to another directory to archive that file. I'm getting tired of trying to make this work. I realize that I can use LB to build a new copy and store that in an archive directory and then kill the original in the download directory. but is that the cleanest way to do what I want - just move it to archive the file? I'm a newbie to programming so you may need to inform me in 6th grade language. Thanks.
OK, I was able to figure out how to correctly pass variables over to calldll #kernel32, "MoveFileA",... so it's working now.
I also bought Alyce's ebook which will be quite helpful.

Check out NAME a$ AS b$ in the help file, no need for dll.
