in earlier versions of LB the menu items were left aligned... now in 4.5.1 they are right aligned. Can this be changed?

That's weird. I didn't change anything. I think Windows 10 is doing something funny.

It does that for me too, but I only noticed it a few days ago. I figured it had to do with the fact that I run dual monitors. However I unplugged one monitor and rebooted. No difference.
However, it is definitely not a Liberty BASIC problem. If I open Notepad it does the same exact thing.

hmmmmm...I can live with it. I thought it may have been my coding and I wanted to fix it before my next release of the software.
thanks Carl

It happens on my girlfriend's computer, but not my main one. Interesting.
(My main computer is actually enrolled in the Windows Insider program, so it's a few Windows builds ahead of the general public. Still weird that I haven't seen this, though.)

That fixed it for me, but I had to set it to left handed, which is very counterintuitive.

I don't know what would've caused that setting to change, or suddenly start getting enforced, but the setting makes sense, if you think about why it's there: it's original intention is meant to control how the PC behaves if you're using it on a touchscreen with a stylus(or just your hand, now, but the Tablet PC API and Control Panel was first designed with Pen Input in mind). If you're writing with your right hand, you're also clicking with your right hand. If the menu pops up in it's normal position(on the right), then it pops up under your hand. So it opens the menu on the left if you choose right-handed, so you can leave your hand in place and still see the menu(and so you can't accidentally brush the screen with your fingers while holding the stylus and hit a menu item, taking an action you didn't want to take.)
Opposite for left-handed people.

Yeah, I think it happened to me because my new main computer is a ThinkPad x220t tablet which is connected to two monitors and a keyboard and mouse through a port replicating docking station. I have only had this computer for a couple of weeks now. So, I can see that Windows decided that because I am running on a tablet that it should do something different.
