Is there any way to make vertical column heading in a grid.
My current work around for the heading is to make each letter in the column name a grid value. Then make a grid value with a single underline (_) for each column heading.
Just wondering? Thanks for any help..

OK.. Here is a example with 4 headings of different length. Displayed in a grid vertically. Just wondering if it was possible to do something like columnNames("aa","bbb","cccc") vertical...
dim aGrid$(5,100) dim colHdr$(4) colHdr$(1) = "hdr1" colHdr$(2) = "heading2" colHdr$(3) = "hdng3" colHdr$(4) = "h4"
' grid is crsss ref between rows and columns
for i = 1 to 4 maxHdrLen = max(maxHdrLen,len(colHdr$(i))) next i for i = 1 to 4 colHdr$(i) = space$(maxHdrLen - len(colHdr$(i))) + colHdr$(i) next i
for i = 1 to maxHdrLen for j = 1 to 4 aGrid$(j,i) = mid$(colHdr$(j),i,1) print aGrid$(j,i);"|"; next j print next i
for i = 1 to 4 aGrid$(i,maxHdrLen+1) = "-" next i
WindowWidth=900 WindowHeight=650 textbox #main.x,300,200,100,30 grid #main.a, aGrid$(), [useX] ,20,10,100,400 open "Grid vertical header" for window as #main wait
[useX] xy$ = #main.a cellxy$() #main.x xy$ wait
I can live without it. But would be nice..
Thanks Dan..
