Milestone moment - Today Liberty BASIC 5 alpha 352 executed it's first API call!
calldll #user32, "MessageBeep", 1 as long, result as boolean
Tada!
Doesn't seem like much, but it was hard work. Great things ahead.

Way to go Carl!!!!!!! {:0) Brandon Parker It's funny because it sort of breathed to life as a Frankenstein's monster of a thing. As soon as it seemed to work I began to see how I did it wrong. More work to do.

More work to do. Yeah, that's always the case. I can't count the number face-palms I have had when I just realized the one little thing I was doing incorrectly that was blowing things up. {:0) Brandon Parker

Yeah, that's always the case. I can't count the number face-palms I have had when just realized the one little thing I was doing incorrectly that was blowing things up. Yup. I've said many times, if you write the code and throw it out in order to write it again, the result will almost always be of higher quality.
