I have my program. I type run. It is in black print/white background.
My need. I want to add a solid background color. I don't want to add 15 lines of code to do this.
I would thing 3 or 4 lines of code should do the trick.
Any help ? , can't find any samples I understand.

The mainwin or console does not support colors. If you really need colors, you will have to create a GUI window.

Try using a Graphicbox. The help file will be very helpful.

Just need to add background color to an existing (.bas program). why is this so difficult ? The main window isn't really designed for this, sorry. However this will change in Liberty BASIC v5.0.

LB5 isn't out yet, so there's technically no update available yet.
There's a very early testing version out, but it probably wouldn't be suitable for your purposes yet.
