Is there strong reason why underscores is prohibited in names (variable names, may be function/subs)? I mean, "_" is special continuation symbol in BASIC, but this works only on end-of-line. So why not in a middle of a name (like "SS_CENTER")?
I think if it will be possible, it will make porting programs from C-like languages easier.
