Hello folks,
Did anybody find how to add tooltips (simple or balloon) to menu items?
Thank you in advance, Fabio

Not seen an example of menu tool tips. You might use pop up sub menu but it won’t look like a tooltip. Both main and sub would point to same handler.

The only other native way I can think of doing this is to create a graphicbox along the top and use mouse x y events to pop up a nf window.
alternatively you could use bmpbuttons as menu icons and then use the tooptip to work on them.
I have done something similar before but it's not pretty.

You can set an area, as a tooltip area by specifying the xy rectangle. But this would only be useful for static menu items not drop down or cascading. It is discussed in Alyce’s book.
