Does anyone know why PASSSWORD is a reserved word?

I think it was once intended to be a textbox command that provided a **** hidden input to a textbox. But stylebits made it unnecessary.

I heard somewhere it used to be how you specified your license key in early versions of LB so that you could use the runtime engine to distribute your apps.
It's not used anymore, but remains reserved for backwards compatibility.

It's not used anymore, but remains reserved for backwards compatibility. It is still used by the application creation mechanism, but when I developed that I probably should have renamed it to something obscure so it would conflict with possible variable or subroutine names. It won't be an issue with LB5.
