I can't find a hint in the Help-file. In Windows 95, XP and so on it was easy to instruct (?) Windows or install an own FONT-file in Windows FONT directory. Is this still possible in Windows 10?

See this page: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/gdi/font-installation-and-deletionIf you mean programmatically, you need admin rights to do it, but the absolute simplest way is to copy the font file to C:\Windows\Fonts, and then reboot the computer. If you need it available right away(and things like terminal services/remote desktop sessions don't apply), then after copying it, you can use a couple of API calls to get the system to recognize it. AddFontResourceA(), to add the font to the system font table, and then a broadcast SendMessageA() with the message WM_FONTCHANGE, to tell all running applications that the list of available fonts has changed.
