In Windows 10 x64 edition there is no reaction at all, it even seems that the program is not running.
timer 50, [go] text$ = "| / - \" for x = 1 to 100 start = time$("ms") wait [go] count = count + 1 if count > 4 then count = 1 locate 1, 1 print word$(text$, count) span = time$("ms") - start total = total + span next x timer 0 print total / 100 I have tried to display a progress indicator, but nothing happens.
The same code works as expected in Windows 10 x86 edition.

This could be related to the syntax coloring not working (a timer related problem). Restarting LB x64 doesn't help?

on Win 10 32, in definitely needs a colon( ; )
print word$(text$, count); Without it mainwin scrolls down and spinning bar located at 1, 1 not seen any more.

Thanks, restarting LB5 fixed the problem, so for testing LB5 alpha it seems that a new instance of LB5 should be used for each new sample.
