I am using LB Pro 4.51 to open .rtf and .pdf files
My system has .pdf files associated with Foxit Reader.
When I use code to associate .pdf files with LB, it works but Foxit produces the following message:
Security Warning [yellow triangle with exclamation mar] Foxit Reader has been opened by the following app without a valid signature. This may indicate a security issue. If you know what's going on and would like to continue, click "OK". If you’re not sure, click "Cancel". App: C:\Program Files (x86)\Liberty BASIC Pro v4.5.l\lbpro.exe [] Remember your choice for this action OK CANCEL
Files open without issues with: run "explorer [document name]"
My question is, in Liberty Basic, why not just use "run explorer [document name]" to open documents? This software is intended for distribution.

If in understand correctly I would say making that a standard would defeat the purpose of using LB.

The document is a user manual for my LB program. The user opens the user manual from within LB.

I have used the same technique.
[help] run "explorer SCHelp.pdf" wait
It seems to work well, you get the benefit of .pdf and the reliability that it will open on the users PC in a browser. I don't see any nag screens with this method.
