Welcome to our new Liberty BASIC Community forum. We aim to provide the best support you will find for Liberty BASIC programming. Novice or expert, new to BASIC or returning to BASIC, or indeed experienced coders trying BASIC you will all find knowledgeable friendly support here.
We plan to migrate as much content as we can from our original home, in the mean time just carry on as normal and fire ahead with your questions.
You can actually help build content here by posting any help you received previously, post the original question and the solution you were given. It can be short and sweet, don't worry about duplication.
Be sure to bookmark the site so that you will find us easily.

Hi everyone,, Is Alyce still around? Hi Carl, I wrote a cemetery mapping software with LB about 15 years ago! It continues to run flawlessly even through windows 10! Absolutely a great product!!!

Alyce is certainly still around and busily helping with the move. Take care with file uploads. Small files are ok. In the past members have uploaded 2mb - 10mb files without thought to the cost to the community. Big files you should host yourself. Most .bas program exchange can occur within posts. Larger .bas can be attached. We reserve the right to delete large, inappropriate files and images without consultation.

I will repeat this for full effect.

Don't be shy, go looking for something you were helped with on Conforums and repost it all here, we need hundreds of busy members rebuilding this much loved resource.
We are of course looking at how to do this programmatically but we are under pressure time wise and we are not sure if what we recover will be integrated within this new forum or a static resource. LBPE and the Wiki will persist so don't panic too much.
Just a few posts from each of you will make all the difference.

Glad to hear the forum is going to stay active with a new home. I was concerned all that valuable information was going to be lost. I plan on posting my projects on the forum. I recently purchased a LB 4.5.1 and I am looking forward to the day I can purchase liberty basic pro 4.5.1 the tools included like versioning and code formatting will save me hours of time. Keep up the good work cannot wait to begin contributing to the knowledge base.

Hi David, great to see you back. You need to dig out some of your old floppy discs and repost some code! We lost your site a while ago.
