Hi David, great to see you back. You need to dig out some of your old floppy discs and repost some code! We lost your site a while ago. Yes David, I agree with Rod!

Hi folks .. Nice to have found your new Basic Forum. It will probably take me a while to get used to LB, having spent so many years with Creative Basic. Best wishes to all .. Graham

I lost touch with LB about 8,10 years ago around the time my son was born, life just got too busy and computers in general took a very back seat. I remember what a fantastic product it was though, thanks for the emails alerting me to your new home.

I want to pay an upgrade price for 4.5.1; but I do not see a route for doing that. Can you help?
I have a serial number for 4.5.0 (and was registered user 4.0.4 starting long ago). I just installed 4.5.1 and it's not asking for my serial number.
Is this a sort of trial run for N days, after which I will need to produce the serial number I bought for 4.5.1?
P.S. Although I am now mostly an occasional user, LB still is a big time-saver for me in certain situations, and I am anxious to make a payment as small token of my appreciation.
Cheers!

Apologies -- I just found the link to where I pay the upgrade price.

Theordore - LB serial numbers are valid for the whole major version. You can use any version of LB 4(4.0 - 4.5.1) using your LB 4.04 or LB 4.5 serial number.
The upgrade price is only for two things: Upgrading from a previous major version of LB(for example, LB 3), or upgrading to LB Pro.
When you start LB, does it say you're using a trial? And does the title bar say [Unregistered User], or your name? If it's registered, it'll have your name in the title bar, just as my title bar has [Chris Iverson] in it.
If you had a previously registered copy of any LB 4 version on your computer, the LB4 registration data should be found and accepted by the new version of LB.

The message was sent by Carl. I guess it went out from me because my email address was listed as forum owner. Conforums has now officially closed its doors and we've got a thriving new forum here with many of our old friends! Welcome to all. 217 members in less than two weeks!

Yes, I was definitely logged in as myself, so I'm not quite sure how it came from you. But, that's a problem that won't repeat now that conforums is kaput.
