I'm courious is LB5 going to be compatible with lbpro 4.5.1 ? If so there is a very long trek ahead, lots of luck!
Just tried lb5 - 353 on w10 64 bit, compiling my rather large A_GRBL_Sender6Ezz.bas got syntax errors up the ying-yang.
simple macros fail. function plot (data$,Color$) etc
anything containing #main.xxx fails
stylebits not supported
and much more .....

LB5 is meant to be a cross platform (multi OS) version of Liberty BASIC. Windows specific features will not be as strongly supported. The widget set is emulated so that perfect portability will be there. Additionally if there are commonly used features of Windows we will implement cross platform versions of these where possible. At some point we expect to have native Windows widgets again in addition to the common cross platform ones. Then more backwards compatibility to certain API calls will be possible.
