WINSTRING __________ SYNTAX _______ WINSTRING(Type.POINTER$.struct) WINSTRING(PTR) Sometimes a Windows API function or a second party DLL. will return a pointer to a string in memory rather than a boolean or a length. This handle is always a ULONG (32-bit unsigned integer). The LB doc is pretty skimpy on this. I know how to use it. Does anyone else? If so, present a commented example.

How do you expect folks to become involved if you plunk out the answer before those interested have a chance to do the research?

Walt, Your reply to Rod was uncalled for. Rod offered a link to an existing document created and shared by Alyce Watson, a well-respected and long-time member of this community.
Play nice and be respectful of others! This is not an "ask" here...

The LBPE has almost everything we know about Liberty BASIC recorded and explained. It is a little hard to find and negotiate these days because it has become Static and lost a lot of active links. I posted to help folks research.
