Hi
I have a problem with copying contents of a Texteditor (#win.MainText), to the clipboard.
Sub GOed handle$ #win.MainText, "!copy" 'copy the contents of #win.MainText to the Clipboard, but this does not happen. End Sub
The help file for Copy states, "This causes the currently selected text to be copied to the WINDOWS clipboard". What does selected text mean? I assumed that all the text in in the text editor whould be copied. There is is text in the editor and I've I've tried "setfocus"
ALSO #win.MainText, "!copy" ' does not copy to clipboard #win.MainText, "!cut" ' does not cut text nor does it copy to the clipboard #win.MainText, "!cls" ' does work, all the text is deleted OK
#win.MainText, "!paste" ' the contents of the clipboard does displayed in #win.MainText OK
Any help please

!selectall selects all text programmatically. Then issue the !copy.Selection is usually a mouse driven user activity but you can do it programmatically with !selectall.

Thank you Rod for fix, so simple. I looked for aged in the Text Window Commands but just didn't see it. But that whats happens when you're 83 years old.
