Huh... maybe not. I get the same thing when trying to open the tutorial, both on 4.5.1 and 4.04.

Let’s stsrt getting precise. What exact version of Liberty are you using, how exactly are you trying to start the help file or tutorial? Which menu, which button?
If you are having trouble please navigate to the help file and the tutorial files, right click and see if the file is marked as blocked under the general tab.

Rod, In my case I'm on 4.5.1 Pro, and its the green button on the bottom of the first screen "The World of Liberty BASIC!". The other 5 buttons work as expected.
<snip>Jun 14, 2018 - Liberty BASIC Pro v4.5.1 released! - This maintenance release of Liberty BASIC includes bug fixes and a few enhancements.</snip>
I also read that there is a fairly recent pro update. I did message Carl to get the download link, but have not heard back. I can email you my purchase info if you wish to verify that I have purchased.

Ok, Henri and Metro thanks, I now understand. The links in “The World of Liberty BASIC” splash screen are old.,, they probably need refreshed by Carl. There are links on the Main Liberty web site that take you to tutorials. Carl has some on line videos as well. His book is a good buy as well.
I switch off the welcome screen as soon as I installed the latest version so I never see the broken links.
The on board tutorials and on board example files can be reached via the menu system.. links at the top of this forum take you to the Liberty BASIC Programmers Encyclopedia which is probably the most current on line learning resource.
