I do have a problem and it has to do with the fact that I have not brought an app/program into v4.5.1 before and I need to have an understanding of the various options available to assist me in bringing in a .bas file from a CD or DVD. In my failed attempt, I first did a "Select All" and copied all of my source code from the CD.
Then I opened LB and used "NEW" along with an option there. Finally, under "EDIT", I clicked PASTE. Nothing happened. So I am sure there is something here that I am doing wrong and hopefully, you guys will bail me out again. Also, where can I study up on "stylebits" and the use of same?
Appreciate your patience in helping me out.

Just use the OPEN command in the File menu and select your .bas file on the CD/DVD.

Yes you are thinking this is far more complex than it is. Use OPEN This will give you a file selector dialog, navigate to your cd and click on your old .bas file. Now before you do anything else click on SAVE. Now navigate to a folder on your new computer and save the file to that location.
You could equally navigate to your CD file using Windows Explorer, the file icon at the foot of your screen. RIGHT click on the .bas file then select COPY from the pop up menu. Now navigate to your folder on the new PC, RIGHT click in the folder and select PASTE. The file will now be on your new computer. OPEN it in the Liberty BASIC editor from its new location.
The Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V method we discussed earlier can also be used if you can see the program code in one window and want to transfer it to the Liberty BASIC editor.
Experiment, since you have the file on CD you can’t really lose it or break anything.

Another way. If the extension of the file you want to open is .bas, just double clicking on it and it should open iLB even if it was written in another language. Even though a basic file in LB has the extension .bas, it it simply a text file that can actually be opened by Wordpad as long as you set iWordpad to All Documents.
