tenochtitlanuk is on the staff, (difficult to spell and say but I am sure it has meaning, and thankfully we have cut and paste), AKA John is a retired teacher and has an really interesting mix of science and maths stuff on his own site. Worth a browse. DigaMe

Always glad to have visitors to my site. At present I'm working on pages about random numbers such as we use in Liberty BASIC. Sparked by the recent code for Bouffon Needle, and the 'throwing darts' methods to get rough values of Pi, I got sidetracked (via hyperspheres, Anatoly!) into a bit more on what a 'random number' really means, and how techniques like PseudoRandomNumberGenerators work. Will be adding stuff on doing Chi-squared tests on the results, and how to call our 'ultimate', the Mersenne Twister PRNG. Code for the following animations will be up soon on my site. - PS Any Mexican or hispanophile will recognise my 'handle', based on the ancient capital of Mexico

PS Any Mexican or hispanophile will recognise my 'handle', based on the ancient capital of Mexico I do recognize it and have (not so fond!) memories of helping my kids learn to say it when they studied it in school! I have very fond memories of my early days in the LB community of visiting your site. The disco lights were quite impressive! Your site is full of great stuff and you keep adding more!
