Maybe it would be cool to produce a version of Liberty BASIC that is only good for 1024 characters, just for the purpose of coding challenges.

Perhaps it could be something as simple as a current file size indicator on the status bar in the LB5 editor? Or a checkbox to enable an entered memory limitation which prevents adding text in the editor once the limit has been reached?

Won't cut. Normal approach is to start with bigger working program and then squeeze it
