Don't worry. I had an equipment failure. It's been down for some days but rest assured it will go back up.

I know you are busy Carl, but do you have plans to get runbasic.com back up and running? or is it in lock down

Thanks Carl, really appreciate it.
Just curious! how much time is required to re-build runbasic with a patch for the Sqlite locks issue. I do appreciate that even if you said 3 hours , you are already under the pump, maybe even swamped again so its not gunna happen until LB5 progresses

I can't really be sure how long it will take. Probably a day's work just to pull all that out, look at it, be sure it's the right stuff I'm looking at, and then do a build. Last time I looked I couldn't find the build script and that's the scary part. If I do this, I may as well fix a few other things while I'm in there.

I do realize if you rush a miracle man you get BAD miracle's so I'm reluctant to push this, however if you do have a moment of inspiration , maybe consider this list too..
Add mySQL. absolutely needed for multi users. runbasic.proboards.com/thread/709/database-locking-thoughtsFix memory leak:runbasic.proboards.com/search/results?captcha_id=captcha_search&what_at_least_one=memory+leak&when_days=9999&who_only_made_by=0&display_as=0&search=Search Solve the "d" that gets put on numbers, such as "0.0d", when you retrieved DB data. If you just did these 3 things, then RB becomes a real possibility against Python and the rest. Also we have httpget$(), but what about adding httpsget$() for the https web data.
I understand this goes to the bottom of the pile of jobs and I realize it could be some time off, but miracles do happen (just look at Easter)
