Recently, I stumbled on a problem with the INPUT statement. I don't know if the answer is somewhere on this forum, I didn't find it.
It is about a string containing a comma.
in LB 4.5.1, when I write:
input "enter a text ";text$ print text$
and enter the text: hello, world the answer is: hello, world
Writing the same lines in LB5-350 or in RB and entering the same text containing the comma, I get the answer: hello
Is this a normal behaviour ?

QBasic will not allow entering text with comma, at all barking REDO FROM START LINE INPUT reads whole line
Now, LB 4.5.1 supports LINE INPUT ? seems yes for me But LB5 does not Is it "feature not implemented"?

I think so.
Yes, LB 4.5.1 supports LINE INPUT.
RB also supports it. As LB5 is coming straight from RB, we should eventually have this implemented.

I’ll take care of it. 😉
