How about a HTML interface. Something similar to RFO BASIC would be great. The grid is great, but I find it vary difficult as a user interface. HTML is very easy to use. And sometimes there is a need to build a interface based on conditions of a run program. The layout can float to fit different size browsers. It also has built in popup for many things like date and color pickers. It has numeric, and digital checks, video and other media, pdf, javascript, and other stuff..
Just something to consider...

I'm curious as to how difficult it would be for LB5 to have a widget that emulates the abilities of LBbrowse alycesrestaurant.com/lbbrowse.htm. Just lately I have been creating reports using LB4.51 and HTML. I have found it simple to throw in tables and charts developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/piechart. BUT as I am a linux user there seems to be the odd glitch with lbbrowse (and wine) from time to time so lately I have just "run" the file with my browser. I would prefer to have the reports displayed in my LB(5) program. Just a thought.

G'day and Howdy. Do you know anything about LinuxFX. Posed to be a windows clone. I have lots of stuff I'd like to move to Linux but didn't want to take the time to set everything up. This looks like it should be easy. See it at: LinuxFXThanks for the help. Dan

Dan Dan, Window dressing does not make it a windows10 clone, you've been to Vegas enough to know all is not what it seems, LinuxFX is base upon Ubuntu , So linux under the hood. I'm sure you'd look good in a dress but that won't change your gender.

There is no HTML widget planned for LB5. That would be a tall order for a multiplatform programming language.
