Trying to jumpstart things, again, I need a full screen text console interface, monospace font, like consolas, free colors, (green on black perhaps), adapting to different screen sizes? Is this possible to do in Liberty Basic? Like back in -71? The Console 3 demo is not it. If so, will be happy to Vipps $100 to the one I think helped me limp along..

In stead of deciding what your solution is why not tell us a little bit about the application you want to build. That way we can steer you in the right direction. For me console3.bas just shows how hard it is to write a console based solution. Liberty is not hard to master, you just need to free your mind a bit and move on to GUI.
You can do a lot with mainwin but as I am sure you have been told before it does not do color.
What would your user screen look like? What data would it handle?

'What would your user screen look like? What data would it handle?' like the display on a Commodore 64. Full screen, text, green on black, blinking cursor, text and keys in/out.. And nice ifthe app can fade in, stay on top and fade out when the app ends. And handle some cool soundclips. And, I can write a GUI, based on either an API or html, css, and javascript/vbscript, but this is Bladerunner Software.. ;-)

Ok, will roll back to *language* download an earlier version, I can avoid the problem with them changing syntax, and can use my code to do this. Happy new year!
