I purchased a fresh copy of LB - V 4.5.1 approximately 6 weeks ago; have been very satisfied wth the perfomance of the app -- save for the point that it takes longer to boot with successive uasge. I suspect that this feature was designed as a "left-handed sales incentive", and should have been discontinued when I paid for the program but this has not happened. Repeated attempts to contat Shoptalk via the phone number listed on he web site have apparently been deflected to a small contractor located within the 508 area code.
Please advise.

Carl will see the message here, and reach out to you.
In the meantime, some quick troubleshooting.
Did you receive a registration code after purchase, and has that registration code worked?
Does LB have your name in the title bar when you open it, or does it say [UNREGISTERED]?

Just to expand on that. I am pretty sure the purchase process is automated. When you made the purchase an email would have been sent to the email address you filled in. This email contains a registration password and instructions on how to complete the registration process. I suspect the email was deflected to your junk mail folder. You may still be able to find it in your junk mail or deleted mail folders. Carl can resend it but you would need to email him the details you gave at the time of purchase.
If you find the email it is just a case of clicking on the register my product option and entering the password. Then your copy of Liberty will open without the nag screen and with your name at the top of the IDE.

Be sure to write down the password and keep it in a safe place you will remember a year or so from now. Your PC will change or get upgraded and you will need it again.
