Hi I bought a new computer with Windows 11 and I hear a continuous hum in the background when I run a liberty basic program that plays sounds, but there are no problems with other applications. Do you know what it might be?

Sound is usually good for me. Try the .zip in this thread and use the last posted demo. While the program is running open your volume control (bottom right) of your screen and see what the volumes are set to, each app gets its own volume these days just make sure they are not too low or too high. There will be a main volume control too. Set everything mid level till you get a feel for what your pc is doing. I have a feeling that a hum is generated by an unconnected input being cranked up so picking up mains hum. Do check your inputs and sources. libertybasiccom.proboards.com/thread/291/project-music-sound
