I started with Liberty Basic approx 20 years ago.. which doesn't seem real. Am I misremembering?
I am 37 now, and in my teens I picked it up and would use it to make games to play with friends.
We had monster battling games, tic-tac-toe-esque 1v1 games, even a long form text based RPG over 12k lines.
Since those days I've picked up numerous other languages, primarily C#, and worked as a senior software developer as well as running my own small software company. If it wasn't for the ease into programming that LB provided I probably wouldn't have continued down the path.
Despite the staggering level of tech available these days I very much miss the days of Liberty Basic as a teenager, I'm very happy it's still around and still functional and appreciated.

Thanks. Glad you like it. Yes, Liberty BASIC has been around for 31 years now. Spread the word!

That's a long time Carl. Now make 31 years longer with a good future for Liberty BASIC.
