Is it allowable to move a .bas file from one computer to another computer? I have a large app that I want to move to the LB v4.5.1 version I have on a new Windows 10 computer. The app is 51 pages of code that I built way back when v4.03 was the latest thing and Vista was Microsofts latest. I want to add a couple of things to the app, but I want to make the changes using v.4.5.1 on my new W10 computer rather than on the old computer with v4.04. My wife and I use the program several times each month
and have been since the program was finished in late 2008 or early 2009 and it still works like a champ.
The program is currently running on two different Vista computers that are off-line, but I hope to put them out to pasture soon.
As always, I appreciate all the advice and help members here on this site have provided.
Thanks Much!

Yes of course you can move a .bas. I am quite sure that Carl has said in the past that you can have Liberty running on more than one computer that is for your personal use.
What you cannot do is give people copies of Liberty BASIC to run your .bas programs. That is why we have the create application option that allows you to give people an .exe that will run your program and only your program so protecting Carl’s software.

Yes, you are free to install Liberty BASIC on any of your computers. It is a personal license, not a per CPU license. :-)
