Is it possible to run LB on a Chromebook? I understand that some of the more expensive Chromebooks can run Windows. Would that be using some kind of emulator?

I don't believe you could get that to work for a couple of reasons. First, I believe Chromebook uses an Android system, which doesn't have any kind of Windows emulation. Also, I'm pretty sure most Chromebooks (unless you install it on a laptop) have ARM type processors. Virtual machines won't work on ARM technology, the last I checked. But, if you have it on a regular laptop with an x86 or better processor, you could put a different system on it, like Linux or Windows. It does work in Linux under Wine. I've also run it in VirtualBox using Windows XP. You might check to see if there is a virtual machine available for Chromebook, but I have my doubts.
My understanding is that virtually everything you do on a Chromebook is browser based. I installed it on a PC once, just for fun. But being a diehard Liberty BASIC user, I didn't like it at all. It's great for surfing the web and there are apps for various things like word processing using cloud storage. One day I may keep it on a laptop just for surfing the web and checking up on messages and whatnot. But, right now, BASIC programming is pretty much a Windows thing, or Linux with Wine.
I wish my LB programs would work on an Android system. My wife uses an Android box for TV and it would be nice to make her a program to search for old TV programs on Youtube and Archives.org.

It's quite complicated nowadays, and there are ways. Google 'Exagear on Chromebook' for one. Or 'windows on chromebook' for other alternatives.
