Hi
Liberty bases and programs made with it or not working in Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Working fine in Windows 10 64-bit Windows XP ,7,8, 95, 98, ME.
I've tried it on 2 or 3 PC same problem. All PC have all the latest versions and windows up dates. Click the execute on all the files and they just do nothing. like it is not seeing them. I have turned off all virus protection and windows protection.
Any help would be great.

Is Data Execution Prevention turned on?
Assuming your copy of Windows 10 is up to date: Right-click the Start button, click "System", scroll down to the "Relating settings" section and click the "System info" link.
This should open the System page from the old Control Panel.
On this window, click the "Advanced system settings" link in the pane on the left.
On this new window, click the "Advanced" tab if it's not already selected, and click the "Settings..." button that's in the "Performance" groupbox at the top.
On this new window, click the "Data Execution Prevention" tab, and make sure it's set to "Turn on DEP for essentially Windows programs and services only."
If you can't change it to that setting for some reason, try adding LB's liberty.exe and the EXEs of any compiled LB programs to the exclusion list.
Click "OK", and then you can close all the other open windows.
If that doesn't fix it, then I'm not sure what's going on.

Are you just clicking on a .bas program? If so do you have file associations set for .bas or not? What happens if you click in Liberty.exe, does the ide start up?

I'm running Windows 10 Pro on this machine. I just created an EXE application from the clock2.bas example that comes with Liberty BASIC. I used the Create Application item on the Run menu to do this. I also checked the Open Explorer on Application open so that I could easily test the application by double clicking on it.

Do you get any sort of error message? There is a difference between DEP being ON and DEP being ON for essential Windows programs. The second option allows programs like Liberty.exe to run. DEP is the only setting that I have ever encountered that stops Liberty.exe running.

Rob No i get nothing at all I'm sure it has to do with my windows 10 PRO or thw way the IT Admin set it up here and not libertybasic. I can open all the programs from all the other PC just cant get this new one they gave me to work.

Given we know Liberty BASIC v4.5.1 runs perfectly well on Win10 Pro I think you need to speak to your IT Admin. They very likely have protections in place to stop you running unauthorised software. This is common practice in corporate environments.
