Sorry for the dumb question, but is there docs on the grid settings somewhere.
In particular I need to know if it's possible; 1. to set the column names font and background color. 2. to set the size and color of the grid lines. 3. to set the properties such as color of a grid cell.
Thanks for the help.. Dan

Thanks Carl, Actually it works quite well. I'm trying to eliminate the use of HTML <TABLE> with grid. I found that I no longer need Combo, or List boxes. Lots more flexible and easy with grids. Creating dynamic windows for maintenance is working for file listing and detail records. So any additional settings makes it more functional and better UI.
BTW: Currently if you change the font on a window it also changes the grid font, but not the column names..

By default, the grid font is LB5's default text font, which is, I believe, 'segoe_ui 8'. A grid control seems to behave like a sub-window, where the content of the grid follows the text font defined for its main window, while the column names, representing apparently the grid's virtual 'title bar', remain unchanged.
Just like title bars and menu bars, they are not affected by any font change. So my question is:
Is it (or will it be) possible to change LB5's default text font ? pierre
