Hi, again,
At some point, the data I have collected needs to be inserted into a document template that can be saved as a pdf document? I could save my data to a csv file, and create a template using Word or Excel, but wondered if a document template could be created in LB?
Kind regards, David

Well the easiest printing is directly from the Liberty program. Look at printform.bas that ships with Liberty. Now set your default printer to Microsoft PDF printer and run the program. You will be asked to name and save the .pdf. Click on the .pdf and it will display in your browser. Easy? Rememeber to reset your old default printer.
But I suspect that will raise a number of issues for you. Its easy to do this at your own PC but will the user have a .pdf printer driver or know how to set it to the default? Will they have Excel? or Word? or know how to run either.
Perhaps there are some pdf utility .dlls that might help.

Hi Rod, do you never sleep?
My data is encrypted to make the saved files of no use to anyone, hence it can be given free. Our plan is to decrypt the data, paste the data into a template, and create a pdf to give to the client. I will look at printform.bas to see how easy it is to opulate before responding further.
Thank you, David
