I noticed an announcement that Windows 3.1 has had it's 30th birthday. This was the first truly usable version of Windows, I think. I realized that Liberty BASIC was also released back in 1992, and that it was developed on top of Windows 3.1. It is worth noting that the first shipping version of Liberty BASIC was actually 0.9. I don't know why I didn't just call it v1.0 but it's an interesting bit of trivia. Another interesting fact is that early development was on a gray Dolch style lunchbox portable 386SX computer running Windows 3.1. Also interesting is that computer was stolen from my office at work. justinmiller.io/posts/2020/04/26/project-386-part-1/portable.jpg

Any chance you still have an installer for that version?
I've got install media for Windows 3.1, and I've set up a VM for it before.
Kinda want to stick LB on it for giggles.

Congratulations on 30 years, Carl. I’m glad to have been a tiny part of its history.
