Hello...many interesting graphic examples and games were in this forum. They shows that LB is so versatile. If raylib can be used with LB, LB will be much more versatile and powerful. Sure. raylib is a very popular tool in the indie game development world. What is raylib? 'raylib is a programming library to enjoy videogames programming; no fancy interface, no visual helper... just coding in the most pure spartan-programmers way.' An introduction video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6Eg9UfC_6U&t=146sOfficial website: raysan5.itch.io/raylibMany people ported raylib to different programming languages in form of bindings or wrappers to the library. Here is a list with all the ports available. You can't believe! Over 50 programming languages including several BASIC dialects. github.com/raysan5/raylib/blob/master/BINDINGS.mdI am an amateur learner and I don't have the ability. There are many experienced forum members. I hope that some of these experienced forum members will try to make a wrapper for Liberty Basic. If LB can be used with raylib, I believe that a lot of amazing graphic examples and games will appear. These amazing graphic examples and games will finally become a nice promotion for Liberty Basic.

It is a nice idea but the reality is it is quite a task. raylib looks great and has masses of functionality. But as you already know unless you know how to program in c your stuck. To make anything of it we need to wrap it up in API functions that resemble BASIC. Even then there is a whole lot to learn. However all is not lost. Rob McAlister has already tackled part of the job. Raylib actually uses OpenGl as its graphic engine, Rob has already provided us with wrappers for some OpenGl commands. Check out the LBPE to see what he has given us. Take your time, you need to work through the tutorial a set at a time. The initial tutorial's code loads in all the wrappers needed. You insert the following examples in that code to see Rob's graphics in action. OpenGlWhen you go to download the necessary files from the LBPE you now need to right click the link and copy it. Now paste it to your browser search box and the download will proceed.

It is nice to read your detailed reply. I really don't have knowledge of C or C++. The work done by Rob McAlister should be very useful. I can imagine that I will not be able to handle this. Anyway, thanks for explaining to me. You let me realize that the task is extremely difficult. Thanks!
