Hi, I am interested in which programming language JUST & LIBERTY BASIC was developed by Carl Gundel. Is he an American developer? His last name sounds a bit German or Austrian or Swiss.

If your question is about what platform Carl used to develop His products on it is Smalltalk.
It has allowed him to provide us with a Windows busting BASIC system.
Hurray, his bio is available with a little searching.

I'm interested in the programming language with which LIBERTY BASIC was developed, less the platform or the operating system.

Smalltalk is the platform, language, system that is used to drive Liberty. That’s what to Google.

Liberty BASIC is developed using the Smalltalk programming language. Carl Gundel is a German name, but I am a third generation American and am not really German at all. More French Canadian than anything else, actually.

Wow, it sounds cool that Liberty Basic was programmed with Smalltalk. By the way, I could hardly find anything about the programmer Carl Gundel on the internet, one of the first hits was: Karl Gundel, a Hungarian cook. Well, I thought, programming is a special kind of cooking with Bits and Bytes, but it was Karl and not Carl. Please, give me a hint!

A quick search for carl gundel on Google turns up a bunch of hits specifically about me on the first page and a few hits for other Gundels too.

Carl Gundel's career as a programmer. I don't use Facebook and Twitter.
