Yeah my bad. But it is bit fragmented now and isn't really focused on "unusual" commands.

What is the relationship between Liberty BASIC and JUST BASIC?
Yesterday, I got the DEP error "a non-continuable protection violation has occurred. Check ERROR.LOG file."
Your post from Mar 5, 2019 at 11:47pm worked like a champ. Thanks.
I am puzzled how that item got switched off of default.

What does the relationship between Liberty Basic and Just Basic have to do with Command of the Day? But to answer the question, JB is a cut-down version of LB.
A non-continuable protection violation normally occurs when a dll or portion of native code attempts to store data where it does not belong. That can happen in native code when writing storing data in an array outside the array bounds. Some times the LB error notification gets mixed up.

Walt, Can you provide a specific example that shows this occurring? I do not recall ever having a non-continuable protection violation error while attempting to access space outside of an array's bounds. {:0) Brandon Parker

Mr. Parker, I can not at this time. I will have to go through about 200 backups to find it. As I recall, at first it gave me one of those Sr16 errors. Then stepping through the code it stopped at a variable that was not an array and the out of bounds error.
