Hello everyone, This software is in LB V4.5. (There is a "read me" in English in the folder). When I throw it with the editor, the sound works well. Note: If you touch the code, you have to record, close and reopen to have the sound. But ... when I do one: ".tkn" and I put in the folder: ".dll, ssl and exe...". Exe no longer gives sound (It's the same with LB 4.4). This is there --->: libertybasic.fr/forum/topic-676+music-read.phpRe-Note: The: ".Dll, SSL, exe" are in a separate zip. Re-re-Note: Test in "B" mode. Others ".exe", which containing "Midi" sounds, which operated under XP do not give sounds under Win 10.
What is going on ? Thank you for.
EDIT: I made a Winmm.dll copy in System 32 and I put it in the folder. And it works.

Not had a chance to look at the code yet but no longer is the volume control global. So every .exe gets its own volume control. When the app is playing click on the loudspeaker icon and check that there is a volume control for the .exe and that it is not muted. Also now .mid files take quite a time to load, I think the voices are unpacked and loaded prior to playing so there can be quite a long delay before sound emerges.

Thank you Rod for this information. I have now removed "winmm.dll" from the folder and it still works without delay. I did not touch the volume in any case. There is mystery for non-functioning.
