I need to embed my LB program into my website for visitors to use. I am not a heavily experienced LB programmer and I have no idea how to do that. Help is appreciated. Thanks. BTW: my LB program retrieves data from a .dat file, it that needs to be considered.

Thanks metro. I've spent an hour or so looking at the thread you provided and the links that were there, but really couldn't understand what I was looking at. Unfortunately, when I described myself as "not a heavily experienced LB programmer", what I really should have said was "a novice LB programmer." If you would be willing to help me accomplish this I really would be grateful, but I'm afraid it would require quite a lot of hand-holding on your part. If you're game, I would try to be a good student. Thanks again.

I was going to suggest www.runbasic.com/docs/rbhelp.htmlbut I can no longer see it available from Carl. (could be wrong). IMHO find another language. heaps out there just not as simple to use as LB and RB. Hand holding is not my thing, spend far more time in my shed now-days than at the keyboard. hence the recent dumb questions from me here. Good luck hunting for programming upotia

What exactly is it you're trying to accomplish?
Do you want people to have an LB program on their computer that communicates with a website/server you own?
Or do you want them to use their web browser to interact directly with an LB program?

Thx.

I agree with metro above. I originally moved from PHP to RB. After support was dropped from RB, I moved to LB with hopes it could at least match RB. That didn't happen. Now that LB looks like it's going the same direction as RB, I decided to move on. Even if a web interface was developed for LB, the support/development pattern does not look good. There are plenty of supported languages with web interface to pick from.. Good luck..
