Hi to all,
I am bit confused about the declaration to Liberty Basic.
By the Different Info between basic and Pro, "Create standalone programs" for both.
FAQ:
It's now with Runtime Engine by the Basic or a standard compiled exe File? It's the Basic only with Runtime and the Pro as a exe File compiler possible ?
Sorry to my Inquerry about Compiler and Runtime.
Kind regards Christian

Neither version will compile to a single exe file. In terms of application distribution, regular LB and LB Pro are identical. Your code is compiled into an intermediate TKN file, and that file is shipped alongside an exe and a few DLLs that help run the TKN file.
The only difference between LB and Pro when it comes to application distribution is that Pro unlocks a feature that makes it easier to create a distribution.
With LB, you make the TKN file, and then you have to copy and bundle all of the other files yourself, and rename the EXE file.
With LB Pro, there's a "create application" option that will do all of that for you, but it still requires use of the runtime engine.

Not quite menu Run / Create Application is here in LB 4.5.1 as well, and it does work (just checked that) As for differences, these check marks hints a few points Pro version worths it mark. www.libertybasic.com/order.html(and whoever have LB Pro, please elaborate that "Application deployment" means here)

And there is also a link there to Janet's review when LB Pro was called Assist. www.libertybasic.com/assist.html

My bad, I've stuck with Pro so long, I've forgotten the differences.
