That's a nice easy to understand one! s$ = "s$ = : Print Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 5)" : Print Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 5)

That's a nice easy to understand one! s$ = "s$ = : Print Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 5)" : Print Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 5) I tried... It was fun! I am also a fan of the Narcissist, but I might be biased since I wrote it... It took me a decent amount of time at work the night I wrote it. I enjoyed every minute of it though... NOTE: You have to manually type in ALL of the code since the Input statement will not successfully input data from a paste event even though it will show up in the MainWin. s$ = "s$ = Input a$ : Print (a$ = Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 14, 3) + Mid$(s$, 6, 100)) + Mid$(s$, 23, 3)" : Input a$ : Print (a$ = Left$(s$, 5) + chr$(34) + s$ + chr$(34) + Mid$(s$, 14, 3) + Mid$(s$, 6, 100)) Just remember, you can not make any mistakes; no backspaces or selecting and overwriting anything as the MainWin seems to capture all of this for the string being input. Here is an image of my success just now after about 5 tries (note: I am watching football at the same time... ). {:0) Brandon Parker
