I am wondering if anyone has some example code of querying what default browser is being used. I have found the registry keys HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\http\shell\ope n\command but have not found a good example yet. I want to find the default browser so I can use it to open my help file. I have an example working but the issue I will run into is if the drive letter changes it breaks my code.

Hello Mark. To open a file with its default software, try something like this url$ = "yourFile.htm"
run "rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler ";url$
Replace the "yourfile.htm" with the filename and extension you are using.
