Not sure what is happening here, combobox's do not present on the screen where I believe they should. see difference between lb5-348(linux) and lb4.5.1(win) in wine on linux
(remove rem's)

Not sure this is your problem, but I ran into this.. If the height is different, it puts the combobox at the bottom of the height. I'm writing a QID (Quick interface design) that designs screen layouts and that's what was happening to my code.

Thanks Dan, I am curious that the same code produces different results depending on the version of LB. I'm sure Carl will shed some light when he gets a chance.
