The "NEW" flags on messages in this forum do not reset after I read them, like they used to. Does this have anything to do with my deleting some of my old browsing history on Chrome? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Might be a cookie issue. Might try clearing the cookies for the domain or clearing all browser history. Admittedly, I'm guessing, but it couldn't hurt.

Does it only happen when you haven't refreshed a page, after going back to it with the back button, or something?
And does it go away if you refresh the page?
I can't think of anything else, besides weird cache issues, that would cause it to flat-out never turn off the "NEW" flag.

I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, but it seems like all the threads going back to the beginning of February are marked New.

It seems you have to open each thread, if it is a multi paged thread you have to open all pages. Then the new flag resets for the thread and the board new flag resets if there are no other unread threads. Reading the posts as "recent posts" probably does not suffice.
Which flag is not resetting? the board flag or the thread flag and if it is the thread flag have you paged through all previous / available pages in the thread?
